Gyp has arthritis and needs a special diet. Consequently I had parcels sent out once a week with dried dog food in, along with map print-outs for the next section of the walk.
All of the campsites that I asked were quite willing to accept the parcels and keep them until our arrival.
Couldn't you do this with insulin, or does it have to be kept in a fridge?

Unfortunatley the insulin needs to be in the fridge, i also need to consider the safe disposal of the syringes ( at home i have a sharps box). One day i will do this walk, really i will.

Thinking positive is the best friend you can have for LEJOG (well, apart from your dog, obviously). Good on you!

I have just published a new blog entry which may (or may not!) be of interest to other end-to-enders.
