Hello Mark

I have just been enjoying having a look through your website and I am very impressed with it all. It seems like such a fantastic challenge which is why many supporters of our charity decide to do it.

I work for Helen & Douglas House (a hospice for children and young people) as the community fundraiser and it is my job to support those that decide to fundraise for us. I am emailing you today as I thought it would be great if I knew a little more about LEJOG so i can support people better (unfortunately I haven't done it so it's quite difficult!).

If you are able to I would like to pick your brain for some 'top tips'. I know this is very vague so I understand if you have a million or perhaps it really does depend on each individual trip, however if there is anything of use you think I could say to supporters so I can offer them something extra it would be great.

I will look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards

Ellen Jardine

Hi Ellen.

Feel free! To be honest, I put everything I could think of into the 'Doing the Walk Yourself' section of my site, so do make sure you have a read through that bit, as there's loads of information there for people thinking of doing the walk themselves. If you've read that and have any specific questions, then feel free either to drop me a note, or post to my public guestbook (there are other LEJOG walkers who visit there from time to time, and getting more than one perspective is always a good idea).

There are also links to lots of LEJOG blogs on the 'Useful Links' page, which is another good way of getting another viewpoint, but if you have got any questions, feel free to fire them at me. The worst that can happen is that I say 'I don't know!'.

I hope this helps...

All the best,

Mark
