I thought I was the only one to walk from East Ham to Canary Wharf! For Each time I do it my family think me crazy. I will now show them someone exceeding my own eccentricities. Immensely pleased to have come across your website. Looking forward to perusing your books.

Brilliant! Though my route wandered round rather a lot:

and I suspect yours is a bit more direct (unless your family are right and you really are crazy!). Then again, the tubewalk heading east from East Ham to Upminster is a brilliant walk too, so if you're looking for inspiration, I can highly recommend it. I loved exploring East London; it was one of my tubewalk's best surprises.
