Journey Summary

Our journey starts in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu, a heady mixture of temples, backstreets and backpackers. It's a bus journey west to Pokhara, the main town where we sort out our trekking passes and stock up on the equipment we'll need for the Circuit, and before long we're heading off on the 21-day Annapurna Circuit that takes us through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery on the planet. It's a difficult walk due to the high altitude so a couple of days rest are in order when we return to Pokhara, and Kathmandu await us at the end of the journey.
